How has AddThis become smarter? (a visual diagram)

AddThis has two menus that work harmoniously. The menu on the left is a compact menu of recommended services. If a service is not in that list, the user can click "more", and an expanded menu of services appears.

Let's say they wanted to share to Backflip—they simply click on it and it will appear at the top of the compact menu the next time they share. This means every menu is custom tailored to each person who uses it.

So let's take Justin and Jodi—they live in two different parts of the world, speak different languages, and use different services. Their menu would look like this:

You'll notice that even the menu is translated for them. There's an algorithm that helps serve the right service to the right person.

It even works for me... although I can't read chinese. But this is what it would look like if it were my native language.
