This is Le Corbusier. He was a Swiss-French architect, designer, urbanist, writer and also painter, who is famous for being one of the pioneers of what now is calledModern architecture or the International Style. He was born in Switzerland and became a French citizen in his 30s. He was a pioneer in studies of modern high design and was dedicated to providing better living conditions for the residents of crowded cities. His career spanned five decades, with his buildings constructed throughout central Europe, India, Russia, and one each in North and South America. He was also an urban planner, painter, sculptor, writer, and modern furniture designer. Read more here.
Corbu's architecture and design was heavily inspired by Mondrian's paintings. For those reasons, I'm tempted to put a poster of a Mondrian near the chair, as a reminder of the grid and minimalism.
Another option to compliment the Corbu chaise lounge would be a Rothko.
The last option would be a Nine Inch Nails poster, designed by David Carson.
What do you think?

Jeff! You bastard! You could also maybe go with a Brockmann poster ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/blankaposters/sets/72157605199393277/ ) The years aren't the same, but that hardly matters.
Congrats man!
Thanks man. Hah, yah, it's a great chair—I got it for a good deal on Craigslist. I seem them floating around from time to time. I'm sure there's a bunch in your area too!
Yah, love the Brockmann posters. A typographic poster was also another contender. I wonder if he has a poster with "A quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" heheh. Do you have any of his work?
Haaaaa, no don't have any Brockmann. I got this one a few months ago: http://www.keepcalmgallery.com/prints/slsimplebw-simple_black_white.htm
Still saving up / waiting to find, a giant old baroque painting frame. I want it triple matted to really take it over the top!
Hello,
I'd appreciate if you can give me some feedback on our site: www.regencyshop.com
I realize that you are home decor-modern design connoisseur :) I'd like to hear your opinion/feedback on our products. Also,
it'd be swell if you can place our Le Corbusier link on your blog.
Thank you,
Nancy
Heya Nancy, I like your website... everything is straight forward and easy to find. You have an excellent selection of furniture. For obvious reasons, they're significantly cheaper because they're probably imitations. Regardless, the prices are phenomenal.
Since I have had no experience in purchasing or owning a sample of your products, I can't endourse your company. If I were given a sample, or bought a piece from you, I would gladly review the product in depth as well as the service.
Thanks for sharing! I'll bookmark your site.
